Montel Williams and Adam Kaplin, M.D., Chair of the foundation’s Scientific Advisory Board, have been published in the distinguished Neurology® journal in the April 1, 2007 online edition. The two gentlemen responded to an article in the journal, “How Common Are the ‘Common’ Neurologic Disorders” (January 30, 2007 pp.326-337), refuting the studies the authors used and calling upon the NIH to champion the illness as a national priority. Their letter will appear in a hard copy edition of Neurology® later this year. For an abstract of the aforementioned journal article, click here.
